About Zhang Ruying

Hi !

My love for Chinese traditional clothing started in 2021. I used to only know Cheongsam (Qipao), thanks to the revival of Hanfu made me interested in learning Chinese traditional clothing (especially Hanfu).

I am happy to share the beauty of Chinese clothing and culture with you through my articles, illustrations, and videos.

2021 – July 2024

Using the pen name ‘Ivoci’ with the website ivoci.com, started my interest in Chinese clothing and history.

Actively share information through website and social media.

August 2024 – Now

To avoid people getting confused between Ivoci (my previous pen name) and Zhang Ruying, I decided to use the name Zhang Ruying and the website zhangruying.com.

I also hope that by using this I can develop my skills to be better and explore more.
